Project name: Overhead Cable Tray Replacement

  • Steel structure Fabrication, Design & assign the steel parts needed for overhead cable routing
  • Assembly on ground the steel parts for the whole overhead cable rack
  • Fixing the H-beams supports on the ground foundations
  • Assign and segregate cable ladder layers: Top layer for MV Cables, Middle layer for LV Power Cables and Bottom layer for LV Control cables
  • Fabricate the cable ladder and assembly bolts for the whole routing
  • Assembly the cable ladder with steel structure on the ground
  • Uplifting the whole structure for overhead cable structure in the basis of H-beam
  • Fixing and welding the structure with all H-beams supports for each area and sections from the overhead cable routing
  • Pulling and installation the cables and according to the cable list and the assigned cable ladder
  • Tightening and fixing cables installed each on its cable ladder by cable ties
  • Terminate the MV cables from both sides using MV termination kits and according to cable sizes and equivalent termination kit size
  • Terminate the LV power cables by using cable lugs and according to cable sizes and equivalent cable lugs size
  • Apply Cable continuity test for all cables installed and terminated to insure polarity for the 3-Phases with according to earth and neutral phases
  • Apply DC meggering test for terminated MV cables for 5 KV among 1 min
  • Apply DC meggering test for terminated LV Power cables for 1 KV among 1 min
  • Apply DC meggering test for terminated LV Control cables for 500 V among 1 min
